CAREER COACHING 

My work with you is similar to that of an athletic trainer. We begin with an assessment to identify where you are strong, the areas that need to be strengthened, and the best strategy to get you to your goal.  My philosophy around “Pivot Coaching”  is that you are able to anchor yourself with your strengths to keep your momentum going. Together we will explore and discover the new opportunities that will allow you to propel your career to another level, in possibly a whole new direction. I believe in taking risks, but doing so with the support of your strengths.  If you are ready to make moves, then I’m the coach for you.

MY CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

I have made it my life’s work to help others achieve maximum potential! After answering the call to participate in a year-long volunteer program, I left my software development position in Washington, D.C. and moved to Atlanta, Georgia to help an urban high school with college admissions. At the conclusion of my one-year commitment, I was invited to help implement and lead a $1 million school-wide college bound grant at the school.My work there led to an increase of over 3 million dollars in scholarship awards for their seniors.

I officially founded Access 2 Admission in 2010 with the intention of ending the growing trend of student loan debt for our youth. However, things took an unexpected turn: Adults started to ask how I could help them Pivot their careers. As the Director of Counseling Services for a small school district I reviewed hundreds of resumes and interviewed dozens of candidates looking for employment. I know what hiring managers are looking for in candidates and recognize that with a bit of coaching everyone is capable of landing their dream job!
